Kurtis Anderson

Kurtis Anderson is the Assistant Director of Maintenance for the Kent School District (KSD) in Kent, Washington. KSD is the fifth largest district in the state of Washington serving 25,377 students. Kurt is responsible for keeping 44 campuses safe and operationally ready for students. His focus is to maximize team efficiencies, save resources and build key relationships with critical vendors.

Managing K12 budgetary constraints is a tightrope that is both challenging and rewarding. To meet this challenge, Kurt brought 25 years of experience in supply chain operations, facilities, and management to the district. He uses creative and strategic solutions, being rooted in Lean practices, to better manage the challenges faced by our educational campuses today.
